The Shopping Cart Management Screen

The Shopping Cart Management page is available from the Total Control Cart Administration page and displays all the features available to control your shopping cart. Like the rest of Total Control, Help notes give a brief outline on each feature and for more detail, a Help button on each page provides a more complete explanation of the choices available.

The Edit Products Option

This option allows you to add products to chosen pages on your site as well as update product names, descriptions and images. Products can be added to any page on your site, including the opening page if you choose.

The Arrange Products Option

This option allows you to move products from the page on which they are currently displayed to any another page on your site.

The Edit Inventory Option

This option allows you to set the prices, weights (used to calculate shipping) and quantities of the products on your site.

The Edit Cart Style Option

This option allows you to change the layout of individual products, i.e. whether a product thumbnail image appears to the left, right or centre of a product description or whether a link to an enlargement image should appear or not. You can also change the colours of "Add to Cart" buttons, the product search box, etc. to match the style of your site.

The Edit Shipping Option

This option allows you to choose the countries that you wish to ship to and set the shipping rates according to the weight band that orders fall within.

The Display Orders Option

This option stores the details of all completed orders i.e. time and date of transaction, the goods and prices in the transaction and the name and address details of the customer.
