The Edit Products Screen

This screen displays all the products on each page of your site. A products can be created by simply clicking a button and similarly variants of products. Product variants can be used where you have a range of products that are broadly similar and only vary by perhaps size or colour. If a variant is created then it will share the same name, image and description as the product it varies from but will display a select list adjacent to the product allowing the site visitor to choose which variant they require. Variants can optionally display different prices and be set to have different weights within your Inventory to allow for different shipping costs.

This screen also allows you to set a type for each product. The product type is used is used to group products of a similar type and these types are displayed on the select list of the search box that site visitors use to carry out a product search. On this screen you can also edit the product name, the optional variant name and the description that will be displayed adjacent to the thumbnail image of the product. You can also add or delete variants, delete products as well change the order in which the products are listed on the pages of your site.
