The Edit Inventory Screen

This screen displays an inventory of the products on each page. Here you can set the price of each product and its variants - if they exist. If your variants all have the same price then only one price is displayed adjacent to the product. If any variant has a different price then all variant names and prices are displayed adjacent to the product.

You can also set the weight of each product on this screen. When a user adds products to their cart, the weights of all the products are added together and used to calculate the shipping cost based on the weight/price bands that you have set within the Shipping screen.

The quantity column displays the quantity of each product that you stock and is initially set to zero when a product is created. Here you can set the quantities of each product that you have available to sell. The quantities of products are updated each time a product is sold and if the quantity reaches zero then the user will be advised that the product is sold out when they place their order. If you don't wish stock to run out you can reset the quantity to 99999 when required to avoid this.
